What I do when I get home is mainly use the computer. I would spent the whole afternoon watching Bleach, but I don’t get to play computer games during weekdays, so I spent most of my weekends playing Spore and Lord Of The Rings. I usually finish all my homework before using the computer, so i can use it till the night.

Targets for TA1 :

English - A2

Comprehensions! They always pull my entire score down.

Chinese - A2

Essays and letters. Mdm Tan would ask us to do the essays and letters in class and there is not enought time.

Maths - A1

Chemistry - B3

Acids, salts, bases, and alkalis. Basically everything.

Geography - B3

Plates. Too much to memorize!

Literature - A2

The way english is spoken in Julius Caesar is dumb.

The STOMPer said the last time he sent in a contribution, it was because there were cigarette butts on his car.

Today, there was Inter-Class Soccer. We had to be at Bukit Timah Field at about 2.15pm. Class ended at 2.10pm. So Bryan was going like "How the hell are we going to be there in 5 minutes???" So after Mr Mok's class, we told Mrs Chew that there was Inter Class Soccer today, and we left school about 15-20 minutes later. We took a bus there. For the first few matches, we scored 0 goals (Maybe because Jeter was'nt here). After that, Jeter came. For the last match, we were competiting for the 11th placing. There were 12 classes. The good part is, we were in the top 12! The last match, we were against 103. They were dismissed at 2.10pm. Too bad for them. ^^ :) Allie, Jeter and I "chionged" foward and scored a goal. After that, Allie passed me the ball. And i was extremely close to scoring. I slided, trying to kick the ball, and i failed. T.T If you had been watching all the matches, when i kicked the ball, i had to fall down. I don't know why, i had been doing it since primary school.

Today was quite a good day. Expect for the biology results, of course. In the morning, we celebrated the birthdays. The cake was quite nice. After that, there was history. Luckily, i managed to finish the worksheets on time. After that, there was chinese, and Mdm Tan was invigilating an exam. We were asked to do a composition. After reccess, there was maths and Mrs Chew went through the TA2 paper with us. Next, there was biology. Mr Koh handed us our test papers. I got my paper. 14.5/30. Cannot be! I went through the paper to find the half mark. Instead, i found 5 marks that wasn't added to the total marks. So i got 19.5/30. My overall marks was 67.5/100

Today, there was sports day. My father drove me there with my neighbour. We reached there about 6.45am. Esmond was already there.Maybe he was EXTREMELY early because he lived near there. As time passed, more and more people started to fill the stadium. The events started about 15minutes later. I found it quite boring. 1) Download this program called "OrbitDownloader". Install it, and run. Close all windows expect the window that has the video that you want to download. Press the "Grab++" button. A "GetIt" picture should appear in front of the video. Click and download the video.

2)Go to www.keepvid.net. (I strongly suggest this one beacuse you dont need to download any programs). Copy the URL of the video that you want to download. Paste it in the text box and download.

3)Go to www.vixy.net. Copy the URL of the video that you want to download. Paste it in the text box and download.

4) Download this program called "ZillaTube". I haven't tried it yet, but a few of my friends are using it and they say its safe and works well.

Drama Night Performance

Today, there was drama performance. I left my home at about 12pm, and reached there about 12.30pm. When i reached there, only Eric had reached school. We then went to Cheers to buy something to eat and drink, and two decks of Alladin Cards. After that, we went back to school and Alistair, Jarrod and Darren had reached. Darren and Marcus did not bring their tickets. A lot of them were playing their PSPs while i was practicing my farrow shuffle. At about 1.15pm (i think) we went to the PAC. They said it was free seating, but it was not. After a while, the show started. Overall, i think it was okay, but the duration was too short and some of the actors were quite soft and i could not understand what they were standing. John Paul looked cool though. There was this guy sitting behind Jeter, and he was freaking out. I don't know why. I think some of his friends irritated him. He was like damn angry and crushed the water bottle that was in his hands and threw it on the ground. Then he started to cry. The show ended and we had to fill in some survey thing before going home.

Micro Mouse

Today, there was nothing much (AGAIN!), expect that Mdm Tan started the lessons with some lecturing and scolding, which was EXTREMELY usual. After school, there was Micro Mouse. For the first part of it, there was just normal training, until about 4.15pm, when there was Physical Training. We had relay first, we had to climb up the ladder, touch the ceiling, then jump down (which saves time) or climb down (which wastes time) After that, we played some games such as Dog and Bone, and some of then fell. We then played a game (dont know that is it called) where you had to run from one building to another. (It was about 10m or 15m; i'm not good at estimating) and when Mr Soo shouted "Crash!" you had to fall down in the grass, which was muddy at time, and when he shouted "Gangbang!" you had to go to the centre and interlock elbows, and then fall down on the grass at the same time. Alistair accidentally hit his head, but he was alive and screaming five minutes later. After that, we washed the mud away from our legs and hands and went to the Technology Room. Mr Soo saw Bryan's (not our class chairman) holding on to a Nike bottle, the one that could spray water. He then went on to talk about the bottle, that there was a nipple at the top of the bottle. LOL!

Yesterday, the memebers of Micro Mouse club were asked to collet newspapers from the residents of Bishan. Before going to RafflesJuniorCollege to assemble, Eric, Alistair, Darren, Jarrod and I went to Pizza Hut to have lunch. We then proccedded to RJC to have a brieifeing, before going to the HDB to collect newspapers. The group that i was in were made up of students of other schools, and only one person i knew. The group was then divided into another two groups. The first group had to do the bottom half of the block and the second group had to do the upper half of the block. I was with this guy from some school that i didnt remember and one from our school, the last one from Victoria. I paired up with the guy from Victoria. He was very friendly though. As we were collecting, there were many houses without anyone, and some with dogs. So when we pressed the door bell, the dog will bark. (Which was quite irritating) Around the 8th or 9th floor, we meet this very weird guy. I knocked on the door as there was no doorbell. The guy opened the door and i asked "Excuse me Sir, do you have and old newspapers?" The guy was half-naked and you could see his chest hair. "I'm afraid not now, young man" he replied. I wonder what he was doing. After collecting the newspapers, were loaded them into the truck, when it started raining. I ran with the guy from our school to Junction8 in the rain, as i did not bring my umbrella. My parents kept calling and i did not answer. I finally picked the phone up. I dropped my phone accidentally. Luckily my phone is okay now.

Today, there were lesssons (as usual...). Before going to the hall for Founder's Day rehersal, i packed my bag. After Founder's Day rehersal, i came back and took my bag and went to the technology room. I think i dropped my pencil box on the way, or i left it in the classroom. If anyone saw it please give me a call.(90086763). During micro mouse, Jarrod, Alistair and I forgot to bring a form. We were then asked to take out our shirts and run along the corridor. It wasn't embarrassing though, i found it quite fun. After that, i went to IMM to buy the cones for slalom at Dasio. I could'nt find them! The staff there were not doing a good job helping people... Ended going home empty handed. I went home and found out my pencil box was missing. After about 7.30, i went to 7-11 to buy the Aladin cards to practise the trick that MrSoo told us. It was quite hard thoug.

Today in the morning, there was english test. I saw the front page and it read "Bukit Panjang Government High School Mid Year Exam 2007. Secondary 2 Express." Secondary two! We are only secondary one! No wonder i found the test so diffcult. I wonder if i could pass. After that, there was geography lesson, and there was reccess. After that, it was Mrs Chew's lesson. "Munnies" again. I wonder if she could replace "Munnies" with "Chews".After that, there was this chinese relif teacher taking over Mr Koh, which have been absent for two days.Marcus dropped the table and she asked him to take his bag and follow him at the end of the lesson. During IEP, we learnt slalom. I doubt i will be able to do it beacuse IEP will end soon.

Matrix Screening

Today was okay. When i came to school, Nicholas Chua was like "Did you do the composition?" And i was going "Which one?" Nicholas Chua continued, "The one MrSoo posted on the Multiply blog..." He paused for a while. "April's Fool!!!". =.=III There was chinese at the first period. Luckily Mdm Tan didnt remember giving us the chinese spelling words, so probably there will be no chinese spelling tomorrow.The rest of the day was okay, until Math lesson. Mrs Chew introduced to us come system, where the groups in the class had to earn this currency called "Munnies".They could be used for exchanging food and stuff like that. After school, there was Matrix screening. The movie was excellent!!!

Weird Day

Today, there were lessons at normal. But there was PSE today. For PSE, we went into the PAC to watch some theathre thing. It was extremelly funny though. Basically, the two people were like making a complete idiot out of themselves. Went back with Hasan, Bryan, Issac (Not Mr.Hehehe) and YongXiang. There was this Sec1 guy from Maris Stella. He was going like "Hi Sec2 guys! Wa your school can bring handphone ah?" Then Bryan was like "I'm Sec1 4 liao, i too poor to buy long pants, so wear short one der." After that, went to Choa Chu Kang interchange to buy two packets of M&M. Bryan was trying to steal 1 packet from me, and i dropped one. He stepped on it and crushed most of them.

Rocket Challange+Swimming Lessons

Today, there was rocket challange. We went to the hall for brifeing, before making the rockets and procceding to the field to fire the rockets. For the first shot, i filled the bottle with 1/3 full of water. Not much water spilled on my shirt. "NO FUN!" i thought.For the second shot, i filled the bottle with 3/4 full with water. Placed my head next to the nozzle and fired. WOHOOO!!! The water splashed on my shirt and shorts. YEAH!!! After school, went to Junction8 to eat McDonalds. Ordered my favourite drink. (Guess) "Sure will rain der!" i said. It rained. Since we were early, we waited for about half an hour and the rain stoped. Luckily.

Printing Of Blog

For those who do not know how to take a screen shot, here's how:
Press the Print Screen key on your keyboard. This is key on the row of your function keys, usually right after F12. This will copy the screen image to the clipboard.Open Paint or Adobe Photo shop or whatever application you use to create your graphics. Then create a new file and CTRL + V. This will paste the screen-shot saved on the clipboard to your new image file.
To invert the colours ( for those who have a coloured background)
After taking a screen-shot and pasting in into Paint or Photo shop, press Ctrl + I(i). You will see that the colours would be inverted. It would look weird though. That's what i did.

Swimming- I hate it!!!

Today went for swimming lessons after school. Before that, went to Junction 8 to eat McDonalds. Orderd chocolate milkshake. Went for swimming lessons. Went to the deep pool. (Was so scared) and found out it was not very deep at all, 1.75m. My parents drove me home after that. Later still got tuition! Luckily tomorow no school!

Another day without Mr Soo

Came to school as usual. Mr Soo didn't come. Went back to class and found that the seating arrangement changed...Sat beside Darren A.K.A Chiongster at first, then Byran told me that Zhi Xuan had to sit where i was sitting. Who cares. After school, went back home with Bryan. He spilled soya sauce on his shoes and bag, not forgetting his pencil case. Went to LOT1 to renew my EZ-LINK card. I placed it on the top-up machine and it read :CONCESSION VAILD TILL 30-04-2009. Who knows what that means. I don't.

HOW TO "TURN" WINDOWS XP INTO VISTA

Okay a few of my primary school friends told me it was possible to "TURN" your Windows XP into Windows Vista. NO FREEWARE OR OTHER CRAPPY VIRUSES, JUST DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL this program called Vista Transformation Pack (VTD) 7.0. And oh all those who are using Windows Vista, dont bother to read. I guess you would have already read. Who cares!?!

My scanner wasn't working. Dont know what's wrong with it. For those who were wondering what Mr Lui was talking about during assembly, this is what the article in the Straits Times Forums (15/3/08) read:
STUDENTS SHOW WHAT IT'S LIKE TO BE TRULY RACE-BLIND
RECENTLY, I was having lunch at KFC Far East Plaza when a group of St Joseph's Institution (SJI) students came in. They were rowdy, like many teenagers, so i thought nothing more of it. After all, boys will be boys. However, before long, i noticed something intriguing. In the midst of all the noise they generated, i saw Chinese, Malay, Indian and Caucasian boys in the group and they were obviously "colour blind". It was a multiracial group but, remarkably, they were interacting interlectually.
Being multicultral isn't quite the same as being intercultral. We have achieved racial harmony, but that dosent mean that we are interlectual. A CHinese may not discriminate against,say, an Indian, but it doesn't mean that he will treat an Indian as he would treat a fellow Chinese.
For example, as a Chinese, I may be more careful with my jokes when interacting with an Indian friend, lest my jokes, which are shaped by Chinese culture, offend him. I will bear in mind that he is an Indian aand try me best to be cultrally sensitive. While this is intuituvely a good thing, i belive it can sometimes be an obstacle to intercultral interaction.
Looking at those SJI boys from where I was, if not for their physical apperacnce, I could not tell who was Chinese, Malay, Indian or Caucasian. I could't detect any sign that they were aware of one another's skin colour. They behaved like there was only one Singapore culture, and not many different cultures among them. I think that's something that many adults cannot achieve, ironically because of our emphasis on being sensitive to other cultures.
It was amazing watching these kids. Wile we often define ourselves in terms of our race, the concept of race is scarecly germane to their fraterninty, which to me is what it should be.
If how those boys interacted reflects an aspect of SJI's school culture, I think the school has done an excellent job in facilitating a truly intercultral community.I congratulate SJI's principal, and hope Singaporeans can increasingly interact like those SJI boys, for whom race obviously means very, very little.

Yesterday's night tuition was totally screwed. The teacher scolded this boy and was shouting. He was standing beside me and i was like "My ear very pain leh, can softer or not?" And i also got a scolding. I dont want to talk about it anymore. YAY! Holidays finally here! Going to play games the entire day and go skating with my neighbour!

Funan IT Mall Trip

Before leaving for Funan IT Mall, there was a talk by Mr Lui. I think Xuan Yi fell asleep. Anyway. we went to the compupter lab for briefing before leaving. Got quite bored on the way there and decided to start spamming everyone.Ate at McDonalds with many people.Unfortunately, this outlet does not sell Chocolate Milkshake. T.T Went looking for the computer parts after that. We went to this shop and the shopkeeper was like "Are you doing research for school project? Get out please, we're doing a business here!" What's wrong with him? Went to this shop and the shopkeeper was very helpful and told us which parts were good, which were not, so on and so forth. At around 4.05pm, Andy and I went back to the shop to find Mr Soo. I think I saw a MediaCorp actor at the same shop. Did any of you? Anyway, I joined Alistair and some other people to play this game outside McDonalds. I dont know what is it called...

Maths Lesson Gone Wrong

Today was qutie a fun day. There was OCP today, a lesson that i will always enjoy. UNFORTUNATELY, during maths lesson today, there was a test, and Mr Liu was so pissed off at someone that he actually slammed his fist on the table, creating a HUGE hole on Bryan's table. After school, went to Bishan Swimming Complex with Eric. Reach at about 2.10pm. THE LESSONS STARTS AT 4.. Went back to SJI and found Daron and Yong Xiang. Stayed there for a while and went back to Bishan Swimming Complex.

Today was quite a fun day. For the first 45 minutes, there was common tests. I felt it was okay, not too diffcult, not too easy. Made some careless mistakes along the way though. I left my tie in class and did not bring it along for reccess. Went to the computer lab and Mr Soo was like 'Where is your tie?'. I ran back and found out the door was locked. Ran back to the computer lab. They said Timothty was still there. Ran back to class. There was no one there. Ran back to the computer lab. They said Bryan was going to class. Ran back to class. There was no one there. Went back the the computer lab. Found out Bryan took my tie for me. During computer science lesson, we learnt something like programming. After school, went back home with Marcus Chew. Dropped by to LOT1 to buy the goggles i had lost. Forgot to go to Popular to buy Friction Ball.

I didnt know today was total defence day. Ate about 4 sweet potatoes and my stomache hurt the entire day. Literature lesson- Mr Mok didnt come today, relief teacher came. I think she got pissed of because i 'copied' her. Other than that, the rest of the day was 'okay', expect during PSE. 29 people squezzed (correct?) under 20 tables. But it was nothing compared to the Singaporeans captured by the Japanese. They suffered much much more than that.

During recess, almost the whole class went to the street soccer court to play soccer. Unexpectedly, there were already people playing there. We went to the top of the side of the street soccer court. Marcus was pulled up by about 7 people. How i wish i had my handphone then. During IEP, i went to the street soccer court for in-line skating with Hasan, Xuan Yi and Zhi Xuan. I fell about 3 times and my butt still hurts! After IEP, went home with Nathan, Octivian and Joseph(Primary school friends). Reached home about 3.30. So much work today! I lost my maths worksheet by the way. Who find it please return to me!

Today i went to school as usual, expecting a scolding from Mr Soo, but he didnt come today. During PE, the PE teacher was like so angry, then he asked the whole class to do 50 push-ups. We only did about 25. I went to see Mr Chan(HOL) after school. Was feeling sad and depressed as he confiscated my phone for one week. Fortunately, there is no school on Thursday and Friday.

Today, there was swimming lessons. After school, i went to eat lunch and went for Chinese test. I got 8/10! We left the school at about 2.30pm. When we reached the bus stop, Eric bought a lot of sweets and treated Yong Xiang, Yi Wen and me to drinks. When we reached there, we waited for a while for Marcus before we went into the swimming complex. The coach teached us how to swim (obviously). Marcus was shaking his fats around. Lessons ended at about 5.00.

Today, we went to old SJI (SingaporeArtMuseum) at about 1.20pm. When we reached there, we went to the chapel to listen about the history of SJI. After that, we went to different parts of the museum.
